Oliver Kay, Director of Sales and Business Development at 3D AG, stresses the importance of a holistic approach to brand protection, which includes secure and transparent supply chains, high-quality manufacturing standards, and incentivizing sales channels. He believes that high-security labels and packaging can play a significant role in communicating the authenticity and quality of a brand and its products.
Kay also highlights the need for consumer education and awareness, as many consumers underestimate the negative impact that counterfeit goods have on the economy and society, and do not know how to differentiate between an original product and a fake.
