Sourcing Materials for our Sustainable Hologram Labels
To create a holographic product with sustainable and compostable label specifications, the focus was not just set on sourcing the right materials, but on maintaining the quality and brightness of conventional hologram stickers. This journey led our team through an extensive analysis and testing process which resulted in sourcing different materials as base compounds for sustainable holograms. Depending on the volume and application, 3D AG is proud to present three variations of Holo-Sprout that can all be manufactured as eco-friendly holograms and custom designed with most holographic effects.

Holo-Sprout Success Story:
Compostable Custom Label with Biodegradable Cellulose Film
3D AG is proud to introduce the success story around the development of the first high quality compostable hologram made from cellulose material. The compostable custom stickers are made from plant-based cellulose material, which is 100% biodegradable and breaks down into natural components in composting facilities. This means that our compostable product labels not only reduce waste but also help to enrich the soil and support the growth of new plants.
Our custom compostable hologram labels are environmentally friendly, as well as they are durable and high-quality, ensuring that they can withstand the demands of various applications. Whether you are using it for food packaging, personal care products, or other consumer goods, our biodegradable hologram label offers excellent holographic quality and adhesion while remaining eco-friendly.
The base cellulose film is metallized with 200 Angstrom Aluminium Oxide to maintain the shiny holographic effect and is certified with a wide range of eco labels.
