3D AG Announces Dr. Marek Krehel as New Chief Technology Officer

Marek, who has been with us since 2017, has led numerous projects to success as our former Director of Technologies and R&D. His meticulous, cordial manner and extensive knowledge in micro- and nanotechnology make him a valued member of our team. Congratulations, Marek, on your new position!
Dr. Marek Krehel's Journey
Marek began his journey in Wroclaw, Poland, with an MSc in Engineering & Biomedical Optics. His passion for research was ignited during his internship at Philips Research in The Netherlands. By 2010, he joined Empa (Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology), developing sensing solutions for medical textiles and continuing his research through a doctoral program at ETH Zurich.
After completing his dissertation, Marek worked at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Seeking new challenges, he joined 3D AG in 2017. His interdisciplinary background and innovative mindset quickly made him an asset, leading to his promotion to CTO in September 2022.

Under Marek’s leadership, the future at 3D AG looks incredibly promising. The focus on high-security and functional applications continues to drive innovation, with ongoing improvements in precision and processes.
