Strategic Focus Area (SFA) Advanced Manufacturing
The program of the Strategic Focus Area (SFA) Advanced Manufacturing aims to enable Switzerland’s scientific and technical community to contribute at the most advanced level to these developments. It is to drive the institutions of the ETH Domain to team up, collaborate in exploratory research projects, and build the knowledge and infrastructure to position Switzerland as a leader in this domain.
SCALAR - Highly Scaled Gravure Printing
In SCALAR, gravure printing will be developed further to close the gap between the laboratory scale devices and printing of devices at industrially relevant speeds. The project will push the leading role of the Swiss printer and cylinder manufacturers in the field of gravure printing.
